Most notable boosters are: Hero/Gold and Magic Find banners. Spirit Banners. Most Halloween foods/utilites (the MF boost with boons is best if you can sustain them) -Item boosters, celebration boosters, and MF boosters you will get over time, not usually worth the gems. Use the wiki to double check how they stack. Used In: Craft Flawless fillets into Redfish Sushi (requires Chef 400). Keep these and use them as a buff while you are fishing. If you don’t plan to spend much time fishing, or you have more than you can plausibly use, sell the extra on the Trading Post. They currently sell for about 21 Silver each. Karma: The fastest method to convert your Karma to Gold is to buy Orrian Jewelery Boxes from Karma merchants in Orr. Note that this method took a hefty hit in profits when Karma consumables were nerfed and the prices of lodestones fell. It is a pretty poor conversion rate, and you rely on the relatively rare lodestone drops from the boxes.
Gold find and magic find only affect enemy drops and bags and chests that use enemy drop loot tables (like MF-affected loot boxes and caches from PvP, WvW and HoT). These produce very little gold. About 25 silver every 100 enemies or so on average. With 50% MF that's little over 37 silver every 100 enemies.
There would be new armor sets in 30 tier, new BL chest special skins at 60 tier etc. I use one a month for a black lion booster after running silverwastes for identifying rare unidentified gear. wardrobe unlocks. It's really nice when you get a piece of a set and it unlocks the entire set.
Drizzlewood will shower you in resources ranging from basics like metal bars to various ranks of trophies. For gold Fractals are fine. Generally, your best bet is to farm for gold and buy mats, but Cursed Shore and Malchor’s Leap are good places to farm T5 mats that come in the bags that enemies drop.

Silk used to be around the 2 silver mark and way back before HOT thick leather was vendor value. Damask patches were created to give leather value again. They are an ingredient in ascended armor. They doubled the amount required to refine leather (4 for 1 instead of 2) and you need them to make ascended insignias now.
