Yeah, non-M/C tunes will shift faster than M/C ones for auto users as well. I mean you can still use M/C tunes, but they will shift significantly slower than using M/C, let alone regular manual. For a more non-M/C friendly tune for the GR86, you could try the AWD tune from K1Z Jumpy. You're welcome for the tune list 👍.
Tires - Shoot for 30 - 34 psi hot. That's it. Pretty easy. I tend to set mine to 32 or 33. Less pressure = more grip. More pressure = less grip and more response. Gearing, just shorten or lengthen the final drive 'till you see the lowest 0-60 and 0 -100 times.
